2. How we use information

3. Meta and other connected platform data

When a user connects Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, X, or any other supported platform, OneTap Social receives only the data and permissions needed to provide requested functionality. Depending on the connected platform and granted permissions, this may include profile information, page or business account identifiers, post data, comments, publishing permissions, and analytics data made available by the platform.

We use that platform data only to provide product features requested by the user, such as account connection, content publishing, content scheduling, account management, and related reporting. We do not sell platform data.

4. Legal bases and user rights

Where applicable, we process personal data based on contractual necessity, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligations. Users may request access, correction, deletion, or export of their personal data, and may object to or restrict certain processing where provided by law, including under GDPR, UK GDPR, and applicable Indian data protection laws.

5. Sharing of information

We may share data with service providers that help us operate OneTap Social, such as hosting, infrastructure, storage, email delivery, security, and support vendors. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business reorganization or asset transfer.

6. Retention of information

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, language preferences, session management, and performance monitoring. Users can control cookies through browser settings, although some parts of the service may not function correctly without them.

8. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account data, platform tokens, and other information against unauthorized access, disclosure, misuse, or loss. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

9. International transfers

OneTap Social and its service providers may process information in multiple jurisdictions. Where required, we rely on appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for cross-border transfers.
